Surprised that as liberal as colleges are these days that they would have competitive shooting.

Shooting is shooting . However, silhouette pistols are as about as far from practical pistols as you can get and still fire a cartridge. The magazine is in front of the trigger guard so the bore axis even or below the top of your hand.
