camping

looking for somewhere to camp in or near jackson/beaver area, any recomendations would be appreaciated ,somewhere safe for me and the wife to park a popup or pitch a tent would like shower facilities, without the wife i can use truckstop showers, thanks in advance

Lake snowden is about 20 minutes from Jackson. They have good camping areas and it is super easy to find. There is also what I think is a camping area in Jackson right on 32 as well. Campsites surrounded by two big ponds.

zaleski state forest isn't too far either. Wayne National is an option too. Shawnee is about an hour south on SR 23.

Lake Hope State Park is real nice. Lots of sites.

Lots of great suggestions, with Snowden being a great option. It serves as a nice base camp to get to other surrounding venues depending on what you guys are looking to do. Unless you just stay in the camper! ickle:
