Agreed. Use the trapping instructor/informant/frustrated father as your ally. Hopefully solves the problem. Hopefully allows him some leverage to smack some sense into the father of his future grandchild.

Now that this has gone done the "legal" path and all parties are known, it will have to remain on the "legal" path. Any other type of retribution will cause you more grief than you've already incurred. It may not be the easy way, but it's the right way. Have patience and good luck, brother!
