Cougar in Washington County

We have a history of crazy shit being on the loose down here. Must be a redneck thing. The grandson of a local farmer said he video taped a mountain lion NE of my place a mile or so. A guy I work with took these pics from about 350 yards yesterday at his place 2-3 miles SW of me. I believe it is a cougar based on the size it appears and what I heard about video. A couple years ago we had a verified big cat kill only 5-6 miles away.

I don't think cougar, not large enough compared to the trees in the second picture and the body proportions are wrong.
