You guys putting up stands in this heat/humidity is hard work! I know that those guys will be looking forward to this upcoming bear season like kids before Xmas. Thanks for putting out the welcome mat Rich to our friends in Ohio!

George... It was hot and humid, but it's gotta get done... Think the ladder stand is in a perfect spot... Maybe 10 yds from where I shot a 450 lber couple years back... Dan is very happy with it... After that we took a walk to check out another spot which Dan liked... Walking in on the trail we saw where a bear rolled over a rock, then another spot where he moved a log looking for grubs etc. can't wait to get a camera in there... Before they come back in Oct. I'll go add another ratchet strap or two to the ladder stand, just to make it sturdier... I'm funny that way.. One strap is not enough... All in all it was a successful trip and I enjoyed Dan's company... Oh one not so good thing happened... When Dan was up in the stand I crossed a rock wall to check out his main shooting lane...When doing so I stepped on a YELLOW JACKET NEST... The bad ones that are in the ground .... Little bastards got me about 15 times...At any rate Dan's on his way home as me speak...He's bringing back a bunch of goodies...You guys putting up stands in this heat/humidity is hard work!
