Digital vs. Predator Camo?

I'm about to purchase some new camo clothes and I've narrowed it down to these 2 types of camo. I'll probably end up purchasing 2 different sizes. A large sized set, so that I can have insulated clothes under them and a smaller sized set for warm weather options.

Does anyone use Digital Camo, like what the military is using?
Does anyone use Predator Camo?
What do you like about either one?

Find one you like, seems more of a personal preference over performance. I do suggest buying quality gear. Sitka is digital and I will likely upgrade to that as I grow out of what I have. I will choose them because of quality and comfort, not the camo.

Camo pattern is completely personal preference just like the color of your car. The animals do not care. Get what's comfortable. I've been killing at least 1 deer a year in gym shorts or pjs for awhile now spot n stalk from the house. Camo has only been around for like 3 centuries. So when you're looking at it from a historical perspective humans have got it done without for far longer than with it.
Heard Giles say he could kill one naked nfp.

I’ve had a pair of Predator insulated bibs for years and absolutely love the pattern. I’ve had deer walk right past me at close range and never had them bat an eye. I really believe in the bigger blotch pattern like that. Helps break up your outline so much better than typical Realtree type patterns.

The Predator pattern has less tendency to "blob" and/or blend in with the surroundings. I'm definitely interested in a pattern that breaks up my outline.
The Digital pattern appears to blend in with any environment...without the "blob" effect.

I used to live next door to a Navy Seal, that did 3 tours in Vietnam. His advice was to "mix & match" what I was wearing to break up my outline and not to get caught up in one particular brand. At that time I was hunting in and along a stream/creek. So I was wearing brown neoprene chest waders, a grey/tan leafy jacket, green/grey/tan face paint and a leafy boonie hat. I was as close as 10 feet from several deer that looked right at me and couldn't identify me as a threat and casually walked on by. As much as I enjoyed being nearly invisible, hunting in water has its' own risks, that I no longer enjoy.

My suggestion... Focus less on the camo pattern, and focus more on the garments themselves. Material, fit, features, etc. Camo pattern means nothing if you're not warm and comfortable enough to stay out there.

I've been wearing Predator in the early season in my lightweight camo for several years now. I've had pretty good success with it. Mine is going to need replacing soon, it's getting pretty faded after several years of use and abuse.

Don't forget the number one consideration for serious hunters - which one will look the coolest? Which one will you look the best calling a dead buck a “joker” on camera after the shot? This and only this will lead you to the right decision. You’re welcome.

The other camo I really like that you don't hear much about the last few years is Vertigo. For treestands when the leaves are off I honestly feel invisible wearing it. I swear deer look right through you just as they scan about. Made the mistake of sewing a shitty replacement zipper on the jacket I have. One of these days it will get replaced and come back out of retirement.

I'm a predator fan and have been for years. IMO it breaks your outline up much more than most camo patters. However it won't stop them from seeing you don't have any back ground to blend into or if you moving around.

Material and clothing quality is a bigger factor. If you hunt a lot then spend the money on good clothing that will keep you warm, dry, and comfortable for years.
