I came across these photos from December. I passed on this lone deer because I thought it was a fawn. Now looking back on it I'm questioning myself. Is this a fawn?

It was acting very dumb that is why I assumed it was a fawn. It knew I (something) was there and just kept circling around. Stayed 20-30 minutes and walked up to 15 yds of me as I was laying in the leaves. I was walking out of my stand area and it showed up so I just laid down. I need to get better at telling the difference. Oh well, it'll be bigger next year.
Maybe it's just the way that the pic looks or me, but the ears look big...which tells me it's a young deer.
