I am on stand right now and I have some estrus in my bag. I am wondering if people on this site use these types of attractants and do they feel they can hurt a hunt in any way. Haven't used them much but curios what others opinions are?

I've only had them freak deer out. I know some guys on here have had success with them, but I seem to do better without.

only thing I've ever had show any interest in it are small yearling bucks. the bigger ones dont seem to be so easily fooled.
I have had success and failure with it. Kinda like rattling. Seems it is a timing thing. Had a 140-150" 8pt come to a scent drag once. My buddy later killed it. I was half way up my tree when he came in. Hard to shoot when hanging onto the ladder. This year I had a funky racked 3 or 4yr old bugger out when he smelled some of the Code Blue Estrous on a decoy. I had sprayed it down really well, but I suppose he could have smelled something else on it as well. Either way, he bugged out fifty yards away and just stood there staring.
