It's salt man.

Apparently salt does more than attract deer. Check this trespasser out. He had to walk at least a half mile, through lots of poison ivy, in sandals, to get back where this camera is set up. At least he didn't take the camera and I doubt he was scouting for deer.

At least he didn't steal it. I've lost a few salt blocks over the years at Deer Camp. I put them out one weekend and the next weekend they have vanished. I think the neighbor's must steal them so I use bagged salt cubes now for water softeners. They can fill their pockets all they want.

Those salt blocks melt away faster than you think if they are exposed to a lot of rain, so they might not have been stolen.
