Yes we do. I imagine it would be like shooting carp in a rain barrel though
Big delicious carp that taste like grass fed organic beef! I just ran out of elk from my harvest last year. I agree with Jesse, I would just like to see the State incentivize land owners for creating habitat (hedge rows, tree lines, brush, etc) outside of the CRP field program so we can upland have birds and more rabbits, doves, etc.I will give Ohio credit their turkey vulture, red hawk program is working, whoever created that needs a raise!

We don't have the area. If we had 100 they would be exterminated within 3 years because of property damage. Elk don't jump fences, they walk thru em

This is true. People complain now about deer eating flowers and trashing expensive trees. Could you imagine one bull in a Christmas tree farm?!

I just don't see it in Ohio. Where they were introduced in PA there is huge tracts of public land. SE ohio is too much of a checkboard with public/private properties. I would see too much conflict.

They bring in alot of tourism too which is good and bad. It brings money to the region, but also brings alot of people.

I saw where the leader of this movement posted a pic of his son on a FB squirrel hunting page with a squirrel and dove. Dove season has been closed for 2 weeks.
I'm with Jesse on this movement. Manage what we have not destroy it by getting greedy. There is not enough wild land for a herd of elk.
