Exhaust Systems SUCK...

The more I read about all the rust issues you guys have the more I am glad I live in the south. That is the real reason “J” moved down here. Lol
Technically, exhaust systems don’t suck. They blow. Just sayin. 
Through most of my 20’s and half of my 30’s I quit wrenching on vehicles too. I figured my time was more valuable (and my sanity). But now that I have kids, one being a toddler boy, I’ve started getting back into the vehicle repairs at home. I came to realize that if I don’t, my son will be robbed of the valuable experience (and vocabulary) that my father passed on to me all those years. The lessons taught are now more valuable than the time lost.

I too started back to teach my sons all the lessons. It has paid off, my son that just finished boot camp had a drill Sargent in his face and he asked him if it bothered him and he said, “No sir, I have held a flashlight for my father.” He said it was all the drill Sargent could do to not laugh.

I don't mind wrenching on things. Provided I have my tools organized. Nothing sets me off worse than needing something in the middle of a job and having to go hunt for it and trying to use something else that might work. My biggest problem is I don't like paying labor charges. $200+ in labor to replace a caliper. It's two bolts, one line, bleed and done.
