BUCKNER, Missouri - Several people were injured after a reported explosion at the Lake City Ammunition Plant near Independence, Missouri.
A plant worker told NBC Action News two people were life-flighted and five people were transported to a hospital by ambulance Tuesday afternoon.
The reported explosion happened in the loading area, where they load the powder into the bullets.
