So many good ones. Some that haven’t been mentioned: The Last Samarui, The Hundley, Gettysburg, The Lost Battalion, Band of Brothers, U571, The Hunt for Red October, American Sniper, Lone Survivor, Last of the Mohicans.
Saving Private Ryan is probably the best all time war movie.
Dances with Wolves is my favorite movie. Never really considered it a war movie.
