Since I can't figure out how to post from my phone here are a few pics from today.

I climbed out of the stand early because the wind was really picking up and a big oak hit the ground not far from me and scared the shit outa me. I walked through the thicket just to kick up a deer and there wasn't any lol.

this thicket is about 6 acres, a lot of nice little oaks started. I'm gonna dig a few and probably brush hog the rest, it's getting out of hand

I'd leave the cover if it were my area. You know your area better than any of us though. Seems deer have plenty to eat in my area, but not always enough cover.

Yea, I won't go crazy just gonna tidy up a bit. the south side has a bumper crop of maple saplings that needs cut before next spring.

Mike I think it's a good spot too, but I haven't seen a deer in 8 sits lol
