Been sitting since 530, did some light calling at 640ish and a hen went nuts behind me somewhere. No gobbling heard at all yet.

Musta killed a turkey, picked some shrooms, went home, cleaned the bird, soaked the shrooms, and is taking a nap now.... or he just fell asleep in the woods and hasn't woken up up. (been there done that)
Saw a hen, never heard a gobble, picked some morels and drive home from the in-laws.
Have not seen or heard a tom in three years on the farm but I sit in the same spots where the other two people who turkey hunt this property kill birds from every year. It is pretty frustrating, especially since every time I have went to the other land I am familiar with (egypt valley wildlife area) I at least can get birds to respond to my calls. Unfortunately a two hour drive each way generally loses over the hour drive to the farm.
