First Squirrel Hunt Of The Season

My buddy Jeff and I made it out this evening for a few hours. I borrowed a twenty off him and he hunted with an old .22

We ended up with five between the two of us. I threw a black in the weeds as it had a big warble on it's belly. The dnr says they are safe to eat, but I can't bring myself to eat one that has warbles.

I'll post pics later as right now I'm getting error messages trying to post from my phone.

I can't believe my luck with the warbles. I shoot one or two every year that has them. It's a shame to shoot them and not utilize them.
