I've wanted to build a floating dog kennel for some years now but have never been able to find a good blue print with the materials and dimensions. I've read about them and different types of flooring materials but wanted to ask if any one has built one before, what they recommend, and if you have a blueprint you would like sharing. Interesting concept. I've never really thought about a floating kennel, but think off hand that you should be researching "base" materials and plans rather than "floor" matls. and plans. The displacement for an average weight of a 100lb receiver (when wet) is going to require a base and not just some floor material to keep the pup outta the water.
Thinking purchasing a regular kennel? Id be thinking of adding on a base with some type of stability control and roll over protection.
