Fresh blood on the new Obsession Fusion 7!!!

Before the rain started, at 9:00 a.m., this buck was cruising by at 60+ yards. I hit the doe bleat call and he looked, but kept walking. A second hit (a little longer note) and he turned my way. Just to keep him turning, I gave another short note on the doe bleat call. He stopped, looked my direction and walked angling slightly closer. At 28 yards, he slowed enough to take a clear shot.
As soon as the arrow struck, he was off and running. He slammed into some vines, bounced clear and bolted to the south. I watched for about 70 yards and lost sight of him.

I got down, took my stand to the house, peeled off some insulated garments and went blood trailing. At the point of the shot, there was plenty of blood from the NAP Shockwave and it continued for the next 60 yards, where I found my arrow covered in blood. Another 60+ yards revealed a hard right turn, where I found him laying at another 20 yards.

My Obsession Fusion 7 was just purchased a couple of months ago, so this is my first kill with my new bow! 55# @ 29", Gold Tip Warriors (500 spine) with Blazer (helical fletch) vanes. This bow is the most accurate, smooth draw cycle and crisp back wall with a good valley, that I've ever owned.

Good hunting, Bowhunter57
