A couple summers ago I switched from PSE Radial X weave 200's (7.5gpi) to the Easton St Excel 340's (9.6gpi). The reason was I switched from a 60lb bow to a 70lb bow and I wanted the extra spine stiffness. I never had a problem with either arrow, but I can get a 70lb arrow in the Xweave 300's at 8.6 gpi. I mainly wanted this so I can be shooting my first pin out to damn near 30 yards. My 2nd pin should be 40 yards. Currently at 68 lbs Im about 1" low at 25 yards and 3-4" low at 30 yards. I know for sure the dropoff will be a bit smaller with the new arrows, and it maybe be even better than I think. IMO, the X weaves that I had before on my old bow shot faster than arrows from other manufacturers that weighed the same.
