That's the cool thing about college basketball. No way an unranked Dayton football team beats a No. 15 Alabama football team...
That's also what's so awesome about baseball. Heidelberg was division 3, but we beat all the d2 teams we played and even some d1 schools like Toledo and BG. There were some d3 schools down south like Emory, LaGrange, and Charleston that could absolutely mop the floor with d1 schools. In fact, most d1 schools won't even take the chance at playing a lower-division team... because they know they could lose and it would absolutely screw their season rankings.
College basketball is full of underdogs and upsets, i love it. If you don't come to play you better pack a lunch. Just look at what's happened to UNC, UCLA and a few others already this year.
