Wow. What. a. shot. That's one hell of a deer, and some excellent footage. I found it interesting how much he bent over and canted his bow for the shot. It's always cool seeing the various ways people shoot trad bows.
methinks he's up pretty high, 20-25'. makes for a steep shot at 12 yards. you gotta lean some when the downward angle is that steep. important to understand how much "you" need to bend at waist, cant your bow AND your head to compensate. requires some trial and error. I practice shooting close to straight down as I'm not going to pass up a 5-6 yard shot because it is too close.

Good video. I too enjoyed see the frame of him drawing, shooting, and following his shot thru. Maybe it’ll help my efforts some way. Thanks for sharing!
