Gun safety reminder

Please follow all gun safety rules while handling firearms. This afternoon I didnt and put my finger on the trigger of a known loaded pistol and have a new hole in my wall to show for it. Thankfully I am the only one home and the gun was pointed in a safe direction and discharged into the ground right outside my house but please remember to follow the gun commandments

Amazing how fast it happens. I shot the window out of my truck once with my daily. Freaked me out so bad I almost fired a second round. By the time I realized the shot came from inside the truck, I already had pressure on the trigger.

Sent a .22 through a deer mount once. Bout pooped my pants, was a luger style .22 pistol that I was planning on shooting the next day however the action is super sticky so I was working it to loosen it up. Somehow this didn't eject the round that was in it and I obviously didn't check it well enough. Finger those chambers dudes.

Accidents can happen in the blink of an eye. Glad nobody was injured.

Bright side in this accident is that you now know if anybody breaks in that a wall won't help them if they try to hide behind it.
