Hunting a Ghost

I spent a lot of hours hunting this deer in November and found out yesterday he was killed by a neighbor. Guess I was hunting a ghost. It was fun while it lasted Mr. Banana Tines


Then just wanted to share this buck i saw on AT (not sure if its been shared here yet) from Ohio killed on Nov. 3rd...what a pig

Mr. Banana tines was a stud! Been there done that though. Hunting a dead deer sucks, but what you don't know won't kill you? Lol.

Neighbor said about a week before Thanksgiving. He didn't know the exact date.

Banana tines looks to be from the same gene pool as that buck your buddy shot, judging from the short tine length and shape and mass of the main beams. Are they for the same area?
