So a few years back I had to replace my bird feeder. I went to a local guy that makes em an paid more than I usually would to support local.A nice wood one. Part way through the squirrels and unwelcome coon figured out to just lift the one side of the roof and pig out.
so I installed a lasp and a little key chain type lasp.

They have been chewing the edge portion of the wood to bust out the plastic viewing wall. Today I see someone busted through.
So until further notice, eat this you sombitchs.

I have seen a Hot Water Tank Drain Pan used upside down under the feeder tray (On top of the post) and it keeps the critters from being able to reach up.
