Jersey Fire

Hope all of our NJ brothers are ok and are not affected by this disaster.
Has anything been reported what caused this one? I find it interesting that it’s rarely discussed on all news media stations. These wildfires are becoming a normal thing these days and that is unsettling to say the least.
I think I saw on news/SM that the SC fire was started by women burning brush.

All good here in southern NJ. That fire is in central NJ near the coast. Lots of pine trees there so with the extreme drought and years of dry pine needles on the ground, looks like this is going to be a historic fire. Almost 13,000 acres burned so far as of 1:00 pm today….and it’s only about 30% contained. Thanks for your concern brother!

There’s another wildfire right down the road from me in Vineland NJ…..only 1300 acres burned and 80% contained. It’s a wildlife management area that I used to hunt about 25 years ago. We need rain…been in severe drought for about a year.
