Help Just a question

So I normally bow hunt public i keep a lookout for others make sure im pretty well alone and if it’s not looking well I usually pack up and try small game the now my kids wish to start joining me hunting id like to start them on small game but get them used to the wait for whitetail i know that im not allowed to have the 22 and the bow out at the same time but can they hunt with the 22 while i have the bow out on the lookout

OMG.... Read what he means.
I believe it is OK for your child to hold/have along the .22 while you bow hunt. (But double check that). I assume You just wanted to save a trip back to the car if the hunting tactics were switched.

I know during the youth seasons they have to be accompanied by a non hunting adult, and with an apprentice license you have to be there to help them out but it doesn't say that you can't carry a weapon.
