Wanted to shoot a doe yesterday....I'm not a very big gun hunter but I went anyway.....wouldn't you know it....the first feet to walk by me was my buddy Gomer!
Why can't this happen on the years I don't have a Buck?

This deer was very impressive in person. I'd have to say conservatively he is 23 wide......was very cool to see him. Kinda wish I would have hunted him with my bow. Had tons of daylight pictures of him in October...but didn't think he was all that big.....I was wrong.

Maybe. Would a been a hard decision. But not having a buck tag in gun season I would have probably made a hasty decision. Age on that deer is all speculation though. Not sure how much antler inches is on that deer's head. But it is very wide

Not that I could tell. But I only let him get to about 50 yards before I turned him around so he wouldn't leave the property.

Haha u might want to wait till later this year to come hunt Zach.....ha the deer are all messed up here rt now. Between warm weather and gun season its not good. I was actually very surprised to see him. Haven't had him on cam for quite some time
