Not a fan of Gerber knives personally. Each one I've had doesn't stay sharp but was a bitch to sharpen. I know that doesn't make sense because you would think a hard blade would stay sharp longer but I could never get them where I wanted. Anymore I just carry a thin folding utility knife.
