Did some driving last weekend from Delaware to Akron/Canton/Alliance. Also, I drive daily from Delaware to the east side of Columbus. The number of dead deer I have seen is crazy. Anyone seeing the same? Any ideas on the reason?
Add the increase in farm activity and it all makes perfect sense.Increased travel due to habitat degradation in my opinion. Does are in search of prime fawning habitat and all deer are in a state of high nutritional demand right now. They need high quality food and cover right now more than any other time of year. Unfortunately in some areas, they have to look pretty hard to find it.
I was thinking this exact thing.Add the increase in farm activity and it all makes perfect sense.
