Very interesting study they did on one particular mature buck's travel patterns. Definitely something to think about when you "find the big buck's bed". Always something to learn with deer and thinking a buck resides on one 50 acre property with a specific bedding area might be the one thing that holds us back on a plan to tag him that works.

Some of you may remember this one. He lived at my house. The first year I had the drone I kept an eye on him nearly every day for two months. I can say based off this particular deer if you want to kill an older buck early in the season, on a feeding pattern, you need to be set up inside of 100 yards of the bed he is in on a given day. They are not nocturnal, but they do not stray far from where they have been safe all day until last light. I learned a lot from this guy.
