Very nice, Schu! That's a very fine bullet (sabot) starter, I like that a lot.

I finally took a picture of my palm saver last night when I took the smokepole out:


Simple and cheap. You'll see that the side has divets in it from me turning it on the side to get that final squeeze out of the sabot...I like to have my loads tight!

My uncle is a wood craftsman and I borrowed his TC Black Diamond years ago. I didn't return the palm saver though! It's really nothing special, just carved out with a bandsaw, sanded, and drilled.
