Ok I got my new Moultrie A-30I black flash camera's the other day... I was happy TOO see they had a threaded insert on the bottom and I could mount them in the same manner as I did other Moultries 10 years ago... Simple and sturdy way to mount them up high and point them down... This keeps the camera outta sight from both deer and thieves... Simply get a piece of flat aluminum stock and cut to desired length... Drill two holes at each end and bend the one end at a right angle... Attach bent end to camera and other end to the tree with a small lag bolt... Then reach up grab camera and pull down gently thus bending aluminum till you get the correct angle... Aluminum bends back to original shape to use again and again...

Rich, have you totally missed Rick's camera mounts we've been using for years? They are a little more practical and less hillbilly 😎

I did see something in the Mingo thread.... Perhaps I did miss something.... Is there a thread somewhere that explains them and how they work.... Didn't say this was the best way to do it or that I was going on Shark Tank with a great invention... Simply stated how I did it...

Scroll down a a bit. Camera mounts, I think is the name of the thread. He recently updated it as well, not sure he updated the thread though.
