Hi, I just joined up here. I live in east TN and am occasionally traveling to visit family in Milford. I’ve been contemplating hunting when there and will be traveling up for a few days on Christmas. I see tons of deer in my grandparents neighborhood but cannot hunt there. And aside from the basics of restaurants and grocery stores I’m not familiar with the area, nor does my family hunt. Could someone maybe point me to some sources to locate potential hunting areas close by or any recommendations? I’d deeply appreciate any input/advice on the area. I’m hoping to maybe find some locations to scout this year and plan a hunt for next December.

the first two guys that responded live in that area and from my understanding its a tough area to find places to hunt. Welcome to the site, I had a good buddy that used to live in Kingsport

I thought it was right next to the Nasty Natti, I'm sorry, I had a student from Milford and they acted like Milford was right outside Cincy!

You might look at Stonelick state park or East Fork. Those aren’t too far from there.
