Nice Rub...

So the other day I walk out my driveway to get my mail and I see some water bottles across the road that some asshole threw out... So I went over to pick them up to throw in the garbage and I noticed a few rubs in the woods... One nice one that caught my eye... It's a pretty big chunk of woods that I only see one young guy hunting it... He showed me some nice bucks he had on camera that a long with this rub got me thinking... So I'm going to put out a cam with some minerals next week... Why not??? Nice to walk across road from the house and hunt... Plus the twins can hunt it if they tag out with a bear early...

Yeh it does put some lead in the pencil... BUT... I once watched a 4 point walk under me with one side broken off at the brow tine.. I watched him at about 15 yds. Totally destroy a tree similar to the one pictured... He only used that broken jagged side to work the tree over.. Had I not seen it done and came upon that tree I would have thought there was an elk in there... So even though it gets you excited I have no faith in rub size determining what's around....
