That’s awesome! I’ve seen the opposite over the years. Haven’t seen a fox on camera in years. Had one gray 8 years ago.Have noticed more and more. Interestingly less yotes and more fox (both gray and red).
I think there were 3 grays on my last yr - one had a half a tail but it was teased out and fluffy, another carried it folded up and over like a Pomeranian. Everything is a little different near Athens i guess. lolThat’s awesome! I’ve seen the opposite over the years. Haven’t seen a fox on camera in years. Had one gray 8 years ago.
I know there are a crap load of them in Penna. so you guys must be covered in them as well.![]()
How many bobcats are in Indiana? This year's trapping season could help settle the debate
Trappers say bobcats are plentiful enough in Indiana to hunt, but wildlife advocates disagree. Data from the season could settle the debate.www.lpm.org
I'm not following you here, J. What population estimate are you referring to with the big swing? I skimmed through the document a few times and I'm not seeing it.I see they count bobcats like they do deer…. Big swing in that estimate on population.
Bobcat population estimate. The percentage difference of the low side too the high side…..I'm not following you here, J. What population estimate are you referring to with the big swing? I skimmed through the document a few times and I'm not seeing it.
The only estimates I read in the article pertain to southern vs eastern Ohio population densities, with reference to the statistical error (+\- number). Nothing there seems odd to me. And I’m scratching my head as to how any of this correlates to Ohio “counting bobcats like they count deer.” I’m seriously trying to make a connection so that I can figure out if I’m actually missing something, or if it’s just a pointless dig at the Division of Wildlife.Bobcat population estimate.
