Somehow gas that was creeping steadily up after said shutdown, all of a sudden it’s a Russian issue? Energy companies got burned by this administration and now this administration is blaming said energy companies for not kneeling down and kissing their feet?

Oil companies are not investing in new drilling and refining capabilities so their profits go up. They cannot invest because of all the new regulations, the terminated lease agreements in Alaska and the Gulf, let alone the political climate where they were told they would be made to be obsolete under this administration from day one!! They Keystone pipeline....it would be 2 years further to being completed had Biden on DAY 1 not canceled it. Yeah it didn't have oil in it (love that fucking argument) but it was going to AND more importantly the shutting it down completely destroyed any promise of investing in such a project. So YEAH THEIR PROFITS ARE UP THIS YEAR.

Let’s be honest about this, it’s not an oil issue, it’s a gas issue. There’s plenty of oil. The refinery’s are where the issue is. You can be drowning in oil, and it wouldn’t change a thing, if you can’t refine it fast enough.

When the current administration says they are going to get rid of oil all together, who wants to invest in anything oil related? Now we all know that oil and gas are not going anywhere, they just want to make it expensive and difficult to get.

Oil companies did dramatically better in 2022, than 2021, because there was no demand in 2021. We were still essentially closed from COVID. The following statement may sound silly, but I believe it to be true: "When the USA exports Oil, it exports Freedom". The price of cheap Russian natural gas is capitulation, and lower US influence in the region it's sold. That's why BIden stopping leases and KEYSTONE XL has a knock-on effect geopolitically. That man is a Moron.
