Carrie Anne was a 16 year old Maltese and she filled out lives with joy. She traveled with us to the U.P. of Michigan, Tennessee and Colorado. Loved hunting squirrels, fishing with me in the kayak and always chasing cats. 
She could retrieve any toy she owned, by the name of the toy, out of her toy box. If you asked her if she had allergies, she would sneeze on command. 
This morning she went into a convulsion, became blind and deaf from it and never recovered. I rushed her to the Vet and we knew it was her time. I held her till she passed...within seconds, she was out of pain and resting peacefully.
