Out past his ears, already!

I posted photos of a bachelor group last year that had 11 bucks and 4 of them had antlers out past their ears, by early July. When the bow hunting season came around, I never seen a single one of them. Just button bucks and does. My trail camera showed a couple of "basket racked" 4 and 6 pointers, but that was it. I ended up hunting in a different county, during the Deer Gun Season, to get the buck I shot.

Here we are in the second week of June and this guy shows up with antlers out past his ears. One of his buddies is in the background of the first photo. Nutz!
Funny thing is....I've already made plans to leave the bow in the rack and go goose hunting, instead of bow hunting.

We got one to finally come in a few days ago, not impressive but he's got horns.

Buddy down the road has a dandy coming in regular, you'll figure out which is the dandy pretty quick lol
