If you ever need to make some repairs to your kayak or canoe, this technique works. I removed some accessories from my kayak and used some plastic shavings to weld the holes shut and it worked just as good as it did in this video. :smiley_bril: He uses a butane lighter in the video, but I used a propane bottle torch...because my lighter ran out of gas. Also, I used duct tape under the holes, instead of what's being done in the video and it worked.
