It pops up wherever it has the chance to grow. Bare soil or any areas that aren't regularly hit with a mower tend to show it the most. You don't see it in areas that are regularly sprayed because most township and county agencies have wised up and are spraying chemical(s) with strong residual control attributes.
 
Link it to the carpenter bee thread and stuff it in them perfectly round holes I can't get with expensive drill bits! Do you know that each year Americans buy hundreds of thousands of drill bits and none of them want drill bits!?! They want perfectly round holes!!
