i have beat the guts out of this truck. Pulling logs out with cables and heavy firewood hauling his taken its toll. It fired up today so i ran it through the woods and over over grown willows. 5 to 6 months of sitting. Alot of electrical stuff no longer works and i think the next time it starts it has to go get help to survive.

Only electrical part you need for a farm truck is the fuel pump. She's good to go!
I took the starter off cleaned up the connections and bench tested. Seemed fine. Its still choosey when it wants to start though. Chasing wires is not my thing. More of a beat it with a hammer till it goes type.

Next time it happens, crawl under it and use a screwdriver to jump the solenoid. It'll spark and scare the hell outa ya. But that will tell you if that is what it is.
