Ok, for all you guys that use a pop-up ground blind, what do you recommend as far as quality, size and ease of putting up... Over all quality is a must... Something with durable fabric where the stitching won't leak... Rods that won't break... Something that might last a few years... Suggestions please, let's hear them.... Thanks...

Barronett Blinds PR300BT Prowler 300 Tall Pop-Up Portable Hunting Blind, Woodland Camo, Multi https://a.co/d/35OuVXD

I have two of them and are my preferred blind, not that I have any experience with any others, but I am not disappointed with any of the two that I have, which the first one that I bought in 2018 was the 'Big Mike' hoping that I would be able to get my father-in-law out with me sometime. He's 77 years old and has not taken me up yet, but I remain hopeful that he'll want to pull the trigger once again on a deer.

Had a Ameristep brick house that I was going to replace with the same thing but couldn't find one in stock. Went with the Cabela's zonz and really liked it this season. All the windows zip shut which I liked a lot compared to the brick house. It closes up tight enough that you could use it as a ice shanty also if you wanted.

Yeah I would have bought another one in a heartbeat if I could have found one lol. Got at least ten years out of it. Camo faded out on it and the zipper broke is the reason I replaced it.

How was the stitching... Some reviews said you could see daylight, therefore they leaked...Some also said material was thin...

Never had a problem with the stitching or fabric. I would leave it up for the season. Snow collapsed it a few times along with the wind but it held up. The only thing and they might be different now is the windows were just a flap that was secured by loops in each corner. If it was raining it would leak in.

A must have for me is that it has to have slider windows. Blinds with these hook type windows deals suck arse. And the bigger blinds I find are easier to put up and down so I like the 3 man, tall size, especially for a bow.

Another 👍🏼 for Barronette blinds. That wind storm back during gun season showed me the toughness of those blinds. Both blinds took off and rolled into a woods a little ways, bouncing off of trees and limbs. No damage, I use the beefier yellow tent stakes and they all pulled out of the ground and the loops were still intact.
I collapsed them, stuck them in the storage bags and they’re ready for another season…..

Rural king has a bunch on sale right now. I have used a rhino 180 for 2 yrs now with no issues. Would recommend them. So many options on blinds kinda make it difficult to choose one. Good luck in your quest.

Definitely like the looks of that blind. I'd imagine with the extra insulation and reinforcement that it would last substantially longer than most other blinds. Just don't leave it up year round and it should.

I'd only use it out in Illinois and it would be up for approx. 2 weeks... Price seems good as other places have it for 400 ish...

I've eyeballed that one before and think it would be a good purchase. I have 2 Rhino blinds and 4 Barronnetts. I like the Barronnetts the best due to their size. I don't really hunt out of them for myself, they are for the kids, and having the extra room is a must. But for one person and to stay warm, the link you posted should work out well.

It's only for one person. ME. I'll still hunt out of a tree and have this up to hunt on extremely cold or wet weather...

I see a nice buddy heater in your future buddy 😂

I'll tell ya, those blinds have spoiled me, along with my buddy heater. It's like hunting out of hotel room now for me or somethin 🤣

I've learned just over recent years how much I really enjoy and appreciate a good portable blind. I most definitely include them in my yearly hunting plans every year now. In fact, I think it was a couple years ago, I killed all 5 or 6 deer from out my pop-up ground blind. I purposely attempted to accomplish that for two reasons mainly, one - how successful can I really be with them, and two - how portable/convenient are they? Well, the ones that I have, like I said, have not disappointed me not one bit. I'm actually impressed on how durable they really are.

Good luck, Rich! on what you're hoping to achieve or get. Blinds are awesome. I'm a big fan of them now, especially during crappy weather and for all my gun hunts. I prefer to rifle shoot deer from the ground for whatever reason.

Thanks Denny.... Gonna be a big change for me, since I've always hunted out of a tree... This year just finishing up radiation treatments before heading out to Illinois was the culprit to my not being able to take the cold weather... I mean I've been cold, but not shaking cold 20 ft up... I've been out in the cold since then and being able to withstand cold has improved... A Mr. Buddy heater is definitely gonna be in the works, along with a nice chair and shooting pod... Might as well go all the way....
