Process frozen deer

First time hunter here, I was wondering the best way to process frozen deer meat into hamburger. Should I let it completely un thaw or about halfway thaw out?.

You'll have to let it thaw to the point that you can work with it. Are you grinding it yourself?

Welcome to TOO land. Yes just let it part way thaw so it's easy to grind.

Yep. Let it thaw about half way so you can trim it and chunk it for the grinder.

Its actually much easier to grind up deer meet when its some what frozen or half frozen. Welcome!

After you un freeze and grind it, cook it. Refreezing anything after it thawed could lead to bacteria growth
