So yesterday I took a walk checking out some known bear areas.... First of which where my buddy Bozo lived... I haven't been back there in like 4 years... Looks like the beavers are hard at work dropping trees... Most of the hollow I watched is flooded now with water just about up to where I put the bait and cams... By fall I'm sure it will be totally flooded... Guess I'll cross that spot off...

Might be a killer spot for ducks though
True... But I'm not a duck hunter... Here's a pic of a tree the beavers are working on... I have had a camera on this tree in the past.. Here's a pic of some of the many boulders strewn throughout the area which consists of rocky ridges and ledges.... Not your typical deer habitat, but the bears love these remote wild areas.. .

Since when did bears not love swamps? Or is the work it could create that is deturing you? I see this as a very positive thing and not negative at all. Unless the bear goes for a fall swim, then I'd be a little upset. But part of hunting a swamp is getting wet. Crossing this off would not be what I do.

Bears love swamps.... But these same swamps must have some semi dry areas for them to bed in... First thing I look for when scouting bear areas is swamps as this is prime habitat... However I think this area come fall will be solid water...
