In order to keep my son's and my agriculture tax exemption in effect we raise cattle. I butchered one last January and sold the bull that got out and hit on the road.
My last breeding cow is about 15 yrs. old and has a perfect calf every year. Well this she didn't have a calf and figured great it's time to get rid of her and cut back some more.
Well today I go check on the cattle and I'll be damn if she didn't have a heifer calf this week and it's up and healthy. So I guess I'm staying in the cattle business a little longer. In couple year it'll be worth 600-700 so I guess all is good.
Besides organic raised cattle makes good healthy eating.
