Anyone else noticing a misting sticky sap residue on their patios, vehicles or outdoor surfaces lately? I’ve never really noticed this before during this time of year.

Walking on my patios I feel my foot ware kinda walking on tacky like substance. Washed my daughter’s car with her help to remove it and less than 2 days it was covered again.

There are a few maples but not sure what variety but still doesn’t explain why in our 20 years here why I’ve never noticed this before during the fall. I could understand if it happened during sap running season? Maybe this severe drought has something to do with it?

Just crop dust caking them. Fields are crazy dusty as they pull the crops off. Looks like smoke covering acres and acres.

Smells like chicken rotting death butthole outside. Solid or liquid hog cow horse shit doesn't compare to the potent nastiness that poultry shit packs. Do they do this in southern Ohio? They pretty much blanket everything in chicken shit anymore. Beautiful skies though.

There's really no industrial chicken operations down this way, so it's all liquid cow shit. We have a pig farm to the NW of our farm, so when we get a good NW wind this time of year, it packs a punch!

Years ago a farmer had dump truck loads of chicken shit dumped into one of his fields. He planned on using a backhoe and loading it into spreaders to dispense around the huge field. A guy in our gun club was spotlighting deer and not looking where he was going….slammed his pickup into it so hard that the entire truck was in the pile of shit. It was so deep that it even came inside his truck windows. His truck was stuck. Stunk so bad that the driver and his passengers were throwing up both inside and outside of the truck. Was a huge mess! Glad I wasn’t with him that night.

Just an old 3020 making everyone's day miserable downwind ....feeling for anyone downwind of chicken or hog shit. Love me some moo cow air tho!
