Road Rage

Never been in a fist fight in a boat, but I'd have gotten to check that off the list had that been me. Not sure how they stayed that calm.

8’ Flipping stick with braid and a one ounce jig tied on... Or just bring out the flare gun for a for the emergency....

Just saying.... But I don't think any of us would have been in that situation. We would have respected that they were there first.

The report says they weren't even fishing but working on a roof at the marina. While on the roof they started throwing nails at the guys fishing and words we're exchanged. For some unknown reason the roofers didn't want them fishing at the marina.

And they were just fishing for green Carp (aka bass). There's been several instances the last decade at Indian Lake where guys were crappie fishing docks back in channels and had guns pulled on them by the owners

Lots of folks with boats docked in marinas get pissed when a bass boat shows up in the marina and start fishing around the docks. Perfectly legal, as long as you don’t step foot on the dock or any other boat. I’ve had people threaten and yell at us for fishing in “their” water. I tell em to call the cops, I’ll wait. We’ve had cops, DNR and coast guard show up, they just say play nice. They own the structure not the water under it.

Probably not the right thing to do and I’d be the one going to jail but if they rammed my boat, one of them would’ve had treble hooks buried deep in his face and the other would’ve been putting out the fire from the flare shot onto their boat.😡👊🖕

Been there too crappie fishing homeowners docks. I think the problem people have with bass fishermen around docks and marinas is the one's who can't flip and bounce lures off boats.
