It was out by KFC and the woods back there are city limits and a lot of swamp back there as well. Need to start shed hunting back there I guess. Iknow they lady who owns the property back there. Was back there years ago and it's nothing but deer highways back there.

Sitting here thinking about shed hunting I remembered this post, Adam. Get on it and let us know!

I'll go look around this weekend maybe. If I don't go this weekend then next weekend for sure. With all this rain I'll need hip waders to access some of the property back there. The property to the west of the ST RT was sold and they are currently building a big travel plaza gas station on it.

Went and looked around my hunting properties the other day and didn't find a single shed anywhere. Thought for sure I would find at least one out in the pastures. I'm telling ya, they just drop them off in a hole somewhere and cover them back up lol.

I think dogs and coyotes run off with them.

I don’t even really look for them, helps with the disappointment. [emoji23]

I'll go look but I don't put a lot of effort into it. I drive the quad around the fields and pastures and might look down in the woods along the quad trails lol. Where the deer bed is on another property and I don't have permission for that ground. They only use our property as a travel corridor to feeding in the ag fields and acorns.

Last I knew he had it mounted at Woodville taxidermy in Lexington. I guess Bass Pro offered around 25k for the rack. I'm not sure if they took the deal or not. I have to see if I can find any other details. Haven't heard anything since about a week or two after it was hit.
