Just got home, wore out and exhausted lol... Words can't describe the weekend.... Life is good!!!!
Welp, made it home safe and sound... None the worse for wear....
Had a great time, caught fish on a huge freaking lake/river that's bigger then any lake we have around us except for Lake Erie....
Met some great guys that'll be coming up this spring and we'll be hosting them on Lake Erie for a long weekend and that'll start an annual event with us make treks too the Lake Norman/Wiley area and they coming up and doing the Lake Erie trip during the spawn for smallmouth... Most of them haven't caught a smallmouth and are looking forward too the big lake... They're a little paranoid about some of the waves they've seen but we've got a Ohio river backup plan for smallmouth lol....
It was great spending the weekend on my buddies boat fishing with my Son Ryan.... We haven't done that in a while and it was long over due... He gets married in two weeks so I'll be down for that when they have the ceremony in Charleston SC.... Should be a good week as well....
I've truly been blessed throughout my life having some top notch friends, this last weekend reinforced that....
Between them and my too family I can look back and smile at the times I've had and will continue too have....
I'm one tired SOB today but it's a good tired lol... Been walking around with a smile on my face all day thinking about the weekend....
The wife has 4 days off this week so hopefully I'll get her away for a couple of them as I owe her for being part of my shanghaied weekend lol
