Unfortunately I won’t be able to get out for a few more weeks or more. Hims got more important things to do before hims get to play.

First he's gotta work on that list of things to do that the wife is adding to every day... He's gonna wish he was back working....
I like waiting till end of Feb early March when most have shed in my area. Usually just see what's on my cameras and can get a good idea when most drop.

I wait until March to make sure most are shed. You don’t want to go too early and bump the deer out to other areas. The only exception is if there is a piece of state land that holds bucks that everyone knows about…in that case, you have to go early and risk bumping them. If not, someone else will find them weeks before you ever step foot onto the piece.
